Glop in a Box
“A box showed up on my doorstep one afternoon. This is not an altogether unusual experience, boxes show up at my studio all the time. But when I bent down to pick it up I noticed there was something different about this particular package. The box itself was bulging, a viscous fluid was slowly leaking from the bottom, and the whole thing had a distinct musty smell. I leaned closer to read the return address on the shipping label, and that’s when it started moving…”

Glop in a Box is a 4.5 inch resin figure designed by Andrew Bell and produced by MPHLabs.

A-Type
mphlabs worked with artist Andrew Bell to bring the myplasticheart logo to life in the form of the platform figure A-Type. The concept of the figure stemmed from a desire to create a figure which provide a multitude of customization options. With 2 large flat surfaces and the ability to stand the figure upside down or rightside up (as well as hanging), the A-type is built for variety. Pics will be available sometime in 2009.
